Rolls Royce Directors

EDM number 1612 in 1992-93, proposed by Jim Cunningham on 15/03/1993.

That this House calls on the directors of Rolls Royce, who according to recent Press reports are to receive salary increases of between 20 per cent. and 30 per cent., to forgo these proposed increases in view of the recent announcement by Rolls Royce of 5,000 job losses; and further calls on them to set an example to directors of other companies which may be in a similar situation, and expects these to do the same.
