PRIME MINISTER'S QUESTION TIME
EDM number 1534 in 1992-93, proposed by Eddie Loyden on 04/03/1993.
That this House believes that the present time given to honourable Members to question the Prime Minister is inadequate; notes that under the present rules the Prime Minister answers questions for 30 minutes each week, but many more honourable Members wish to be called to raise subjects of importance to their constituents and to the country in general; and, in view of the importance of Prime Minister's Question Time, resolves that it be extended by 15 minutes to 3.45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This motion has been signed by a total of 53 MPs.
