Use By The House Of Fair Trade Foodstuffs
EDM number 1520 in 1992-93, proposed by Michael Fabricant on 04/03/1993.
That this House believes that it should set an example by using, whenever possible, Fair Trade Foodstuffs, including Cafe Direct coffee, which ensures that the producers receive maximum cash benefit for their families in third world countries, and that this should supplement the substantial assistance already provided to coffee producing countries by the Overseas Development Administration.
This motion has been signed by a total of 13 MPs.
