Law And Order And The Welsh Office
EDM number 1445 in 1992-93, proposed by Roy Hughes on 23/02/1993.
That this House emphatically rejects any attempt to locate the Regional Crime Squad HQ for Mid and South Wales in Bristol; believes that such moves are under consideration partly because the Welsh Office does not have direct control over law and order; and calls for all law and order functions within Wales currently controlled by the Home Office to be transferred to the Welsh Office.
This motion has been signed by a total of 11 MPs.
