That this House expresses its grave concern over the decision of the Swiss Government to permit the export of 60 Pilatus PC-7 military training aircraft to the South African Defence Force; welcomes the decision of the United Nations Security Council to appeal to the Swiss authorities to take the necessary measures to prevent the export of these aircraft; appreciates the support given to this appeal by the British Government; urges the Swiss Government to respect in full the decision of the United Nations Security Council; and requests the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs to raise the matter immediately with his Swiss counterpart.
