Certificate Of Education In Wales

That this House deplores the decision by the Welsh Office to phase out the Certificate of Education of the Welsh Joint Education Committee; notes that this is a move which is rejected by many headteachers, teachers, parents, pupils and educationalists in Wales; believes that this is a further attack upon the highly respected Welsh Joint Education Committee; and calls upon the Secretary of State for Wales to review his decision.
