Vandalism On East Lancashire Line

EDM number 137 in 1992-93, proposed by Peter L Pike on 21/05/1992.

That this House is concerned about the growth of vandalism on the East Lancashire Line; regrets the cost and delays resulting from these mindless actions; fears that ultimately serious injury or death to staff or passengers could result from such vandalism; and calls upon British Rail and the police to ensure that the culprits are caught and this recent spate of vandalism is speedily ended.
