That this House condemns the action of Mr John Guinness, Chairperson of BNFL plc, in sending solicitors letters to all sectors of the media that have published, or are likely to publish, reports of developments of the Thermal Oxide Reprocessing Plant (THORP) at Sellafield threatening legal action; is convinced that this is an attempt to deny free debate on an important issue and is a mockery of BNFL's purported open door policy; and calls on the President of the Board of Trade to sack Mr Guinness.
