Terrorism And Peace On The Railways
EDM number 1324 in 1992-93, proposed by Harry Barnes on 04/02/1993.
That this House unreservedly condemns the Provisional IRA's recent planting of a bomb on a train in South London; congratulates British Rail staff for their actions in evacuating the train before the explosion; notes that the explosion only narrowly failed to cause considerable injuries to, or death of, commuters; and commends the work of the British-Irish Peace Train group in campaigning to keep the lines open both in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
