Greater Manchester Ambulance Service Industrial Relations (N0.2)
EDM number 1272 in 1992-93, proposed by Terry Lewis on 28/01/1993.
That this House calls attention to a management created deterioration in industrial relations with the Greater Manchester Ambulance Service, is convinced that loyal workers, innocent of any transgression, are being dismissed regardless of the cost of industrial tribunal settlements; deplores the practice of bidding up out of tribunal payments; is appalled that the cost of legal services in these matters is concealed from public scrutiny due to arcane accountancy procedures; and calls upon the Secretary of State for Health to order a public inquiry into the management and financial probity of the Greater Manchester Ambulance Service.
This motion has been signed by a total of 36 MPs.
