Future Of Garth Angharad Hospital
EDM number 127 in 1992-93, proposed by Elfyn Llwyd on 21/05/1992.
That this House notes with concern the threat to the future of Garth Angharad Hospital, Dolgellau, posed by the recently announced review by the Gwynedd Health Authority; recognises that this is the only facility of its kind for the treatment of mentally abnormal offenders in the whole of Wales; and calls on the Secretary of State for Wales to intervene urgently in order to find a means of securing the future of this vital centre.
