That this House applauds United Nations proposals to convene an international conference on the future of Cyprus; endorses the Government's support for this initiative; welcomes the positive response of the leaders of the two Cypriot communities; and calls upon the governments of Greece and Turkey to help resolve the Cyprus problem on the basis of a single state of two communities in a bi-zonal federation which guarantees security, human rights and territorial independence.
