Temporary Bailey Bridge Over River Ericht,blairgowrie

That this House notes that Tayside Regional Council proposes to start repairs to the bridge over the River Ericht at Blairgowrie; further notes that the work will involve single file traffic and the frequent closure of the bridge; and calls upon the Government to use all its powers to assist Tayside Regional Council in the provision of a temporary Bailey bridge to ensure that the tourist industry in Glensdee, Strathardle, Braemar and Deeside does not face economic disaster.
