Bridge Closures

EDM number 1126 in 1992-93, proposed by Alan Keen on 11/01/1993.

That this House is appalled by the unnecessary chaos caused to London by the closure of Battersea and Waterloo Bridges at the same time as lane closures on Hammersmith Bridge; and notes that this chaos could have been avoided had an Authority for London been in place, showing the need for co-ordination in policy which only such an authority can provide.
