Recycling In North East Fife
EDM number 1031 in 1992-93, proposed by Menzies Campbell on 09/12/1992.
That this House commends the success of North East Fife District Council in recycling 4,700 tons of waste material annually, which represents 15 per cent. of combined household and commercial waste generated within the district, which is substantial achievement in view of the adversely-affected market for recycled products caused by the recession and Her Majesty's Government's mainly non-interventionist stance; and congratulates North East Fife District Council on the new manned recycling centre at Anstruther to be opened on 15th December.
This motion has been signed by a total of 10 MPs.
