That this House notes the alarming allegations of abuse of mental patients made in the Channel 4 documentary, Cutting Edge, entitled, Special Treatment; and calls on the Government urgently to institute a full independent inquiry into the allegations made and into the Government's repeated failures to act upon the warnings of the Mental Health Commission and to make the results of the inquiry public, for the future safety of patients in Broadmoor and other hospitals.
