That this House condemns the recent removal of the portrait of Miss Jean Gillespie, known as "Letter Jeanie", the first postwoman in Turriff from the Turriff Post Office, to Post Office Headquarters in Edinburgh; supports the view of Turriff residents that the portrait is part of their heritage and should be on display locally; and calls on the Post Office to take steps to ensure that the portrait is promptly returned to where it belongs.
