Information On Health Matters And The Chairman Of Nw Regional Health Authority

That this House is angered by the denial of germane National Health Service information to honourable Members; regrets specifically that, after two weeks, the honourable Member for Worsley has still not received from the Chairman of the North Western Regional Health Authority details of the regular temporary closures of accident and emergency units throughout Greater Manchester; believes this to be of vital importance and interest to every citizen; holds the Secretary of State for Health responsible for this unsatisfactory state of affairs; suspects, however, that a deliberately conceived conspiracy of silence exists in order to suppress criticism of health policies before the General Election; but insists, nonetheless, that the Secretary of State ensures the legitimate concerns of honourable Members are dealt with expeditiously, in future.
