Maidstone Borough Council (No.2)

That this House notes that Maidstone Borough Council's Boroughline Bus Company has now gone into liquidation; regrets that the board of the company paid no attention to the advice of either the Conservative group on the Council, nor its professional consultants; commiserates with those employees who will lose their jobs; notes that the non-executive directors of the company included the leader of the majority Liberal group; and calls on the Board to make good the shortfall in the contributions to the company pension fund.
