Kurdish Asylum Seekers

EDM number 699 in 1991-92, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 18/02/1992.

That this House recognises the need for asylum seekers to enjoy the rights of family union; supports the case of the Alevi Kurds, most of whom arrived in Britain in 1989, who are demanding that their families join them; salutes the 20 hunger strikers outside the Home Office; and demands that the Home Secretary allow their families to join them in safety in Britain.
