That this House was shocked to hear the honourable Member for Fylde describe on radio skilled people who are being made redundant by BAe as being 'liberated'; considers that the view of redundancy as liberation is not compatible with his duties as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Social Security with day to day responsibility for unemployment benefit; and calls on him to resign.
