Abolition Of Nhs Prescription Charges

That this House notes the Government has increased prescription charges from 20 pence in 1979 to Ãº3.40 and now plans to increase them to Ãº3.75; believes that good health and long life are assets which everyone should have, regardless of ability to pay; and therefore calls for the abolition of National Health Service prescription charges.
