Support For Unemployed

EDM number 67 in 1991-92, proposed by Jimmy Wray on 05/11/1991.

That this House is gravely concerned at this Government's failure to deal with unemployment in Scotland and Britain; and calls for an injection of Government finance, in order to create full-time employment and restore some confidence in the long-term unemployed who have been reduced to a despair, misery and poverty which destroys the very fabric of modern society.

This motion has been signed by a total of 33 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
