Royal Naval Aircraft Workshops, Almondbank
EDM number 665 in 1991-92, proposed by Bill Walker on 12/02/1992.
That this House notes that the Right honourable Member for Epsom and Ewell, Minister of State at the Ministry of Defence, has acknowledged and recognised the skill and the loyalty of the Almondbank workforce who carry out third-line maintenance for all three of the United Kingdom's armed services; and further notes that a separatist Socialist Nationalist Scotland would not have sufficient armed forces helicopters to keep the Almondbank workforce employed and the workshops would have to close.
This motion has been signed by a total of 4 MPs.
