That this House congratulates the Horticultural Trades Association for their commissioning of the report Using Plans to Benefit the Community which argues effectively for the introduction by Her Majesty's Government of a planning policy guidance note to local authorities which would provide advice on how trees, shrubs and plants could and should be treated when considering any planning applications.
