TRUST CHAIRMAN'S USE OF PRIVATE HOSPITAL FACILITIES
EDM number 524 in 1991-92, proposed by Derek Fatchett on 21/01/1992.
That this House considers it totally inappropriate for the Chairman of the Leeds General Infirmary National Health Service Trust, Mr Tony Clegg, to make use of private hospital facilities; feels that it is an insult to all those on the waiting list for the General Infirmary and shows that he has little confidence in the National Health Service reforms which he is paid a substantial salary to implement; and calls upon him to resign from his position as Chairman of the Leeds General Infirmary Trust.
This motion has been signed by a total of 58 MPs.
