Social Service Assessments

That this House recognises that although it may be difficult to make significant changes to the factors determining social service spending assessments, it is possible, right and necessary to ensure that Greenwich Council is not again penalised heavily by the effects of the factors that may be roughly appropriate for other Inner London boroughs but have a rough and inappropriate impact on Greenwich; and calls on the Departments of Health and Environment to make the spending assessments in a manner that at least gives Greenwich the same spending assessment for each child or each adult that is equal to the next lowest Inner London borough.
