That this House welcomes the decision of Her Majesty's Government to recognise the republics of Slovenia and Croatia; supports the efforts of the European Community and the United Nations to secure a lasting peace in the Balkans; and applauds those forces in Croatia and Serbia working for the protection of minorities, the upholding of law and the development of democracy.
