D2-Mac Television Signals

That this House congratulates Her Majesty's Government on its determination to resist the imposition, by the European Commission, of the D2-Mac standard on satellite broadcasting; and notes that the Commission's proposals would, if adopted, lead to yet more expensive Euro-subsidies, at the taxpayer's expense, in order to implement further unnecessary and unwelcome regulation.
