The Leader Of The Opposition And The Location Of The Central Bank

EDM number 225 in 1991-92, proposed by Jim Sillars on 21/11/1991.

That this House expresses concern that in the week when Scots launch a campaign to bring the proposed European Central Bank to Edinburgh, which is the fourth largest financial centre in the Community, the Leader of the Opposition should go into bat for London as the location; and urges him to reverse a policy which runs counter to all his party's claims that they are concerned to promote Scotland's position within Europe.

This motion has been signed by a total of 5 MPs.
