Discrimination Against Sport

EDM number 112 in 1991-92, proposed by Stuart Randall on 07/11/1991.

That this House approves the increase in the estimates of the Arts budget from ú194 million to ú221 million but much regrets that the increase in the Sports budget from ú46.6 million to ú48.7 million does not keep up with the rate of inflation; and declares that sport and recreation is a leisure pursuit enjoyed by millions of people and should not be discriminated against in this manner.

This motion has been signed by a total of 31 MPs.
