End Of Apartheid

EDM number 976 in 1990-91, proposed by John Carlisle on 17/06/1991.

That this House warmly welcomes the decision by the South African Parliament to repeal the Population Registration Act, thus removing all apartheid legislation from the statute book; & looks forward to positive responses from the international community, including the withdrawal of all forms of sanction or boycott.
