Exportation Of Animals For Experimentation

That this House is appalled at the answer to the written Question of 12th June from the honourable Member for Carlisle given by the Minister of State at the Home Department in refusing to ban the exportation of animals for the purpose of experimentation; and calls upon the Government to reverse this policy immediately instead of encouraging this barbaric trade which exists solely for profit, regardless of animals' suffering or public opinion.
