School Choice And The Honourable Member For Blackburn

That this House welcomes the decision by the honourable Member for Blackburn to exercise his rights under the Conservative Government's Education Act 1981 to transfer his son from a primary school in the Labour controlled London Borough of Lambeth, in which they reside, to a secondary school in the neighbouring Conservative controlled City of Westminster; and congratulates him on his judgement in respect of the relative quality of education provided by the two boroughs.
