That this House congratulates Yorkshire Television for the high quality of its regional and network programmes and further welcomes the development of the South Yorkshire opt out with its studio facilities in Sheffield; and is concerned that a publisher-contractor style operation in the Yorkshire Region would in the long term be detrimental to the cultural and media base of the region in total and Sheffield in particular.
