GUY'S AND BRADFORD HOSPITAL CUTS

That this House demands that the cuts and job losses announced by the Guys and Lewisham hospitals management and by the Bradford hospital management are reversed; blames the Government for its legislation which allows opted-out hospitals to put money before patient care; and calls upon the Secretary of State for Health to accept responsibility for this latest attack upon the National Health Service by making a statement to this House with promises to repeal the opt-out legislation and to provide the money for the Health Service that is sorely needed.
