Preservation Of Antarctica

EDM number 74 in 1990-91, proposed by Bob Cryer on 14/11/1990.

That this House, recognising that Antarctica is the last wilderness left on earth, calls on the Government to support all international efforts to declare Antarctica a World Park and to reject any mining or other similar exploitation of this unspoilt area of our planet.
