Health Care In Blackburn, Hyndburn And Ribble Valley

That this House regrets the decision of the Blackburn, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Health Authority to close the community dental service at Longridge; is concerned that the current facilities for the mentally handicapped, expectant mothers and pre-school children are already inadequate and will only get worse; further considers that the Authority has not adequately demonstrated the provision of alternative facilities; and calls on it to reconsider its decision.
