Estate Agents (Property Misdescriptions) Bill

That this House welcomes the Estate Agents (Property Misdescriptions) Bill, the Second Reading of which is on Friday 1st March, but notices that the traditional division of professional responsibility between estate agents, solicitors, building societies and builders is no longer valid; and urges that any legislation to regulate the marketing of property should apply to all those concerned with the marketing of property in the course of a business so as to ensure a level playing field between them.
