SCOTLAND'S CONTRIBUTION TO BRITAIN'S ARMED FORCES
EDM number 510 in 1990-91, proposed by Bill Walker on 21/02/1991.
That this house recognises that for over three hundred years Scots have made a unique and important contribution to the strength and composition of the British armed forces; notes that recruiting figures for Scottish regiments have always been at a higher level than the United Kingdom level; and further notes that the vital strategic location of the Royal Navy, the Army and Royal Air Force bases in Scotland has always been recognised and welcomed by the vast majority of the Scottish people.
This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs.
