Emergency Cold Weather Payments;amdt. Line 5:

EDM number 444A2 in 1990-91, proposed by Eddie Loyden on 13/02/1991.

At end 'and recognises that honourable Members are prepared to sacrifice a great deal of time and to go to great lengths to gain, and sate their unquenchable thirst for, knowledge, as it assists them to deal with the many subjects brought before them; notes that their enthusiasm towards this search for knowledge has been clearly demonstrated by their willingness to undertake journeys to the far flung corners of the globe; and has no doubt that in their enthusiasm they would support the House of Commons heating being shut off to enable them to acquire the detailed knowledge and understanding of the physical hardship and suffering which their elderly, unemployed, single parent family, disabled, homeless constituents endure during the winter months whilst the relaxation of the cold weather payments ruling is being considered.'.

This is a ammendment to 444.
