Councillor Craig Combe

That this House salutes the courage of Councillor Craig Combe, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth District Council, in attending a meeting of the council only three days after leaving hospital having undergone major heart surgery thus thwarting a squalid and tawdry attempt by the Scottish National Party to take control of the council and calls upon the leadership of the SNP to dissociate itself from the Scottish National Party in Cumbernauld and Kilsyth and to insist that their councillors henceforth conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the decency, humanity and high standards of Scottish public life.
