FORD OF DAGENHAM'S EXPORT ACHIEVEMENT

EDM number 283 in 1990-91, proposed by Doug Hoyle on 14/01/1991.

That this House notes with great satisfaction the fact that over half of the motor vehicles produced at the Ford Motor Company plant at Dagenham, amounting to ten thousand Fiestas a month, are now being exported to continental markets; and congratulates all employed at the plant on this important achievement brought about by the combined efforts of management and trades unions in raising efficiency and quality levels.
