Ashford (Middlesex) Hospital

That this House congratulates the Secretary of State for Health on including Ashford (Middlesex) Hospital in his list of Second Wave NHS Trusts; notes that 32 of the hospital's 38 consultants publicly backed the application; notes that, according to a local anti-government pressure group, just five local people independently lodged objections; believes that this decision will lead to an even better free and public helath service for the hospital's patients; and wishes the new National Health Service Trust every success.
