North Surrey Water Co Pollution Incident

EDM number 1214 in 1990-91, proposed by David Wilshire on 25/07/1991.

That this House, whilst commending the North Surrey Water Company on its admission that with hindsight it was wrong not to issue an immediate public warning, calls on Her Majesty's Government to conduct a full investigation into (a) the drinking water pollution episode at the Egham works of the company on 26th December 1990 and (b) why no public warning was issued, and to publish the results of such an enquiry.
