Quality Control Of Employment Training Schemes

That this House believes that under-investment in quality training provision in the past decade has been a major contributor to the current home-grown recession; further believes that education is cheaper than ignorance; condemns the Government for allowing unscrupulous employers to exploit participants of employment training schemes by using them as cheap labour; demands that training should be properly resourced and rewarded; calls upon Her Majesty's government to learn the lesson from those who know best by seeking the views of every trainee of such schemes over the past five years in the form of a comprehensive questionnaire; and insists that the results of this survey should be published.
