Cap Reform;amdt. Line 6:

EDM number 1147A1 in 1990-91, proposed by Teddy Taylor on 18/07/1991.

leave out from 'costs' to end and add 'and while welcoming the clear indication that so many honourable Members wish to reduce the absurd costs and protectionism of the CAP on top of domestic agricultural support and privileges which are equivalent to ú127,000 per annum for United Kingdom farmers with holdings of 20 hectares or more and ú20,000 per annum for small holdings below that size, believes that it would be unkind and discourteous not to pay some small tribute to the Commission for recognising that protectionism through import levies is the largest and most damaging aspect of agricultural support. '.

This is a ammendment to 1147.
