Telephone Tapping

That this House is disgusted and astonished at the allegation contained in the World in Action television programme that the telephone of Mr Campbell Christie, General Secretary of the Scottish TUC, was tapped; regards such measures against democratic trade union leaders as the preserve of anti-democratic authoritarian bullies; and calls on the Home Secretary to make an early statement to the House.
