Private Sector Leaseback

That this House is shocked by the changes made by the Minister for Housing to the private sector leasing scheme and draws his attention to the appalling consequence of this decision for homeless families, recognising that private landlords, councils and housing associations will no longer be able to carry out private sector leaseback without adding the cost to council rents or the poll tax and that the consequence of this ill thought out action will be to rapidly increase the use of bed and breakfast for homeless families.
