South African Cricket

EDM number 1094 in 1990-91, proposed by Tom Pendry on 10/07/1991.

That this House welcomes the decision of the International Cricket Council to readmit South Africa to international test cricket; congratulates the non-racial United Cricket Board of South Africa on its inauguration on 29th June; believes that such developments are an historic step forward for both South African and international cricket; and anticipates with relish the debut of a non-racial South African test team in this country.
